Upcoming Dates and Events

Every Sunday the main act of Christian Worship, the Mass, is offered at 10.15am.

A quieter offering of this is offered every Tuesday at 7pm.

Saturday 4th July: Day visit to the Community of the Resurrection, Mirfield. 

"Parishes In Bloom" is an exhibition taking place from Friday 21st August until Monday 24th August 2026 in Blackburn Cathedral. Our parish will be represented with a display created by Christine Hartley and Christine Smith. 

Friday 11th September - Sunday 13th September MISSION WEEKEND - this is our main contribution to the Diocese` Centenary Anniversary Celebrations.

Friday 11th September 5pm Evening Prayer

young@heart group welcome and host a time of refreshments, last minute work on designs, exhibitions and stalls.

2pm Talk / Reflection on the hymn, "All for Jesus" (the title given to the Mission Weekend across the Diocese)

5pm Evening Prayer

8pm Compline and Resurrection Vigil

Sunday 13th 9.30am Morning Prayer; 10.15am Family Mass with pupils and staff from St Paul`s School (theme of Education)

Refreshments and Open Day continues (St Francis Activities, Prayer Stations, stalls, displays etc)

12noon Angelus and Midday Prayer

2pm Talk / Reflection on the hymn "All for Jesus"   

5pm Evening Prayer and Benediction 

Saturday 3rd October 5pm A Musical Evening in aid of the TARIRO PROJECT.
